FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif.,
Aug. 25, 2023 As Hyundai Motor America continues their pursuit in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC) championship, Bryan Herta Autosport’s (BHA) Robert Wickens and Harry Gottsacker currently sit atop of the points standings after the pairing captured a podium finish at the previous race at Road America. Heading to VIRginia International Raceway (VIR), the No. 33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR co-drivers hold a lead over second place in the TCR Drivers’ Championship by 80 points. Following a win and double podium result at the VIR event in 2022, Hyundai is ready to defend their race victory and extend their Manufacturers’ Championship lead as seven Elantra N TCR entries will be waving the Hyundai banner this weekend at VIR.
